Texas Blues meets Rock’n’Roll, hier trifft erdige Bluestradition auf kraftvollen Rock. 2022 wurde die Andreas Diehlmann Band erstmals in der Kategorie Band mit dem German Blues Award ausgezeichnet. Nur drei Jahre später (2025), räumt Diehlmann mit seinen Mitmusikern erneut ab. In gleich zwei Kategorien kann sich die Band die begehrten Preise sichern: „Beste Band“ und „Bestes Album“ mit dem aktuellen Longplayer „That Old Blues Again“. Wie eine gut geölte Maschine arbeitet sich die Band durch ihre Eigenkompositionen, die stark im traditionellen Blues verwurzelt sind, aber doch eine ganz eigenständige und moderne Note aufweisen. Obwohl nur zu dritt, gelingt es der Band einen geschlossenen Sound, ohne jegliche Lücken zu schaffen. Wer auf richtig gut gemachten Bluesrock steht, sollte sich die Andreas Diehlmann Band nicht entgehen lassen.
