Broken By The Scream (BBTS) Broken By The Scream (BBTS) is a Japanese “screaming metal idol” group that debuted in 2017. They are known for their unique fusion of ferocious growls and screams with clear, melodic vocals, combined with highly technical band-driven metal sound and intense dance performances. Their distinctive style has continued to shock and captivate heavy music audiences both in Japan and worldwide. In 2025, BBTS performed on the main stage at Resurrection Fest in Spain and at Japan Expo in France as part of their 9-date European tour across 7 countries. On September 28, they will hold a one-man live show titled “THY ART FROM WITHIN” at Daikanyama UNIT in Tokyo. Their latest album, Solar Strain (released on August 13, 2025), features bold musical challenges and expressive depth, including the over 14-minute epic track “Tsuioku no Nazca.” In 2026, Broken By The Scream is scheduled to appear at the world’s largest metal festival, Wacken Open Air (Germany).
