CARCARIASS is a Metal band from France. Existing for more than 25 years, the current line-up is Pascal Lanquetin (All guitars and Music Composition), Jérôme Thomas (Vocals), Raphaël Couturier (Bass), Bebert (Drums) and Bob (Rhythm guitar). The music of CARCARIASS is going from Death Metal to Heavy Metal. A powerful and melodic music with many instrumental passages that follow each other with extreme fluidity. The name CARCARIASS comes from Carcharodon Carcharias, the latin name of the Great White Shark. Band releases : In 1997, first CD entitled "Hell On Earth"; In 1998, second album "Sideral Torment" on Impacts Records, recorded at the Impuls studio in Belgium (GOJIRA,...); In 2002, third album "Killing Process" on Adipocere Records (MOONSPELL, ALASTIS,...) produced at LB-LAB with Stephane Buriez (LOUDBLAST); In 2009, fourth album "EXtinction"on Great Dane Records (NO RETURN, MERCYLESS,...) ; In 2013, new mastering of the first two albums in a double CD called "Hell & Torment" released by Great Dane Records ; In 2016, re-issue of all Albums in digipack version by Greatdane Records/ Season Of Mist ! In 2019, fifth album "Planet Chaos" on Great Dane Records ; Recorded and mixed by “Drop” (Guitarist of SAMAEL) at Downtone Studio in Switzerland. Mastered by Jens BOGREN (ARCH ENEMY, AMON AMARTH, SEPULTURA,…) at Fascination Street Studio in Sweden. In 2023, sixth album "Afterworld" on Season Of Mist Disribution ; Recorded and mixed by “Drop” (Guitarist of SAMAEL) at Downtone Studio in Switzerland. Mastered by Jens BOGREN (ARCH ENEMY, AMON AMARTH, SEPULTURA,…) at Fascination Street Studio in Sweden. Carcariass played in Europ with many bands like Cradle Of Filth, Coroner, Samael, Sadist, Nostromo, Impaled Nazarene, Alastis, Grave, Benighted, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Beyond Creation, Unleashed, Gorod, Igorr, Aborted, .. and played at many festivals like HELLFEST,...
