About Dexter and The Moonrocks
Dexter and The Moonrocks is a Southern Alternative Band (lovingly dubbed "Western Space Grunge" by their fans) from Abilene, Texas. The band members include James Tuffs on vocals and rhythm, Ryan Anderson on lead guitar and harmonies, Ty Anderson on bass, and Fox on drums and harmonies. Each band member brings a unique style of play that wonderfully merges the genres of red-dirt country and alternative music together for a sound that is unheard of in the music scene. They use their influence from Nirvana, Pink Floyd, Austin Meade, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, and Whiskey Myers to craft earth-shattering music that is likely to blow the roof off any place they play. It was amazing! Love the venue as it was super intimate. The main opener Michael Ferguson was awesome too! You could tell the loved their fans. Would definitely see them again and go back to that venue.

What an experience! This was my second time at a Dexter and the Moonrocks concert and it absolutely became a core memory for me. Only gripe I have is with their merch, get some patches and CD/Vinyls!!!
