Pioneers of the post-punk era, Echo & The Bunnymen are one of the most influential British bands in modern history. Celebrating their vast discography that catapulted the group into the public consciousness and brought them nine top 20 albums so far during their incredible 40+ year career. Their seminal albums Crocodiles, Heaven Up Here, Porcupine and Ocean Rain have been a major influence for many groups such asColdplay, The Killers, The Flaming Lips, Hole& many more, whilst later albums Evergreen, What Are You Going To Do With Your Life? Siberia & Meteorites demonstrate the amazing body of work the band have curated.

Ian's voice is scratchy and he's not able to hit every note, but he put forth a tremendous effort and at times you could imagine the Mac of 1981. Will on the other hand was fantastic and the backing band was great, too, even if Pete DeFreitas and Les Pattinson could never be replaced. Three encores of one song each with long waits between each was kind of strange, but I was happy to cheer for long periods for a band that's brought me great joy for over 4 decades.
Lincoln Theatre Washington City, DCShow was ok. Brooklyn Steel is a good venue - but I would love to have more options of food. Show started a bit delayed, with the explanation that Ian McCulloch got laryngitis. In general, great songs, but Ian was clearly not able to sing at his best. Also, it was nearly impossible to hear what he was saying between the songs - maybe due to his accent, maybe due to the laryngitis, maybe to some strong remedies. Anyway, all the great songs were there.
Brooklyn Steel Brooklyn, NYWe had a great evening . The magic of Will Sergeant and Ian McCulloch is priceless ! Obviously the other band members are integral for the amazing sound . Such talent , keyboards , drums , guitars and cello , plus backing vocalist . The amazing sound of the Liverpool Royal Philharmonic orchestra was a privilege to hear , Ocean Rain is an amazing collection of songs . So happy to have attended and a fantastic memory . Thank you 🎶💕
M&S Bank Arena Liverpool Liverpool, United KingdomEcho and the bunnymen played 2 sets on Thursday night the first set was a greatest. Hits set including rescue nothing everl lasts forever and ending the first set with bring on the dancing horses the secon set featured the Liverpool royal philharmonic orchestra and the album ocean rain being played in full highlights being silver killing moon and ocean rain the encore was band only playing lips like sugar and the cutter a brilliant concert. 🌃🌉
Usher Hall Edinburgh, United KingdomWe paid to see the musicians but we couldn’t see them especially the lead singer. He was just a silhouette the whole time because the lighting was behind him and not ON him. It was probably intentional but it’s disappointing when one comes to hear and SEE them. Ian’s voice was gravely but he was sick so will cut mom some slack. He could have cancelled the show. That said, the sound system was great.
