Stellar. Such a magnificent performance, it was both personal and majestic. The classic mix of poignancy and humour. Totally converted my girlfriend who came along not expecting much. Support band, Molly Strange, was magnificent and a great discovery for me.
Forum Melbourne Melbourne, AustraliaOutstanding! John & the gang were in great form, giving us a phenomenal set full of jocularity. A joyously merry time was had by all - who could ask for anything more?!
Wooly's Des Moines, IASeeing tMG for the first time was beyond anything I've ever experienced. It was absolutely incredibly and moving. The venue was also super cool and had great sound. Lydia Loveless was super awesome!
Commodore Ballroom Vancouver, CanadaThe Mountain Goats were as delightful and prolific as ever. Their set was fanatastic, perfect way to kick off the Jenny from Thebes album! Town Ballroom was spacious, clean, and welcoming too.
