Sexton has remained true to his mission of sharing peace and harmony throughout his 10 albums, and in countless incendiary live performances. He has thus built a loyal following of fans, including critics and superstar artists. He is without a doubt what Billboard calls: “The real thing.” These days, people are coming together to revel in Sexton’s musicality for his Martin Sexton Abbey Road Show. This is a live show extravaganza in which he performs the iconic Beatles’ album in its entirety followed by a set of mainly original music. Sexton is a songwriter’s songwriter, with a multi-octave voice that knows no bounds. Acoustic Guitar Magazine calls him a: "Master of dynamics, reducing a room to silence with his blustering baritone, then teasing that silence with a fluttering falsetto." Sexton’s career in music has unfolded like the stories in one of his sweetly redemptive songs. He got his start busking on streets and performing at open mics. Since then, he has gone on to be praised by modern legends such as John Mayer and Dave Matthews, who calls him one of his favorite singer- songwriters. Sexton’s songs of grappling and gratitude were the soundtrack to John Mayer’s early gigging years, and made an indelible impact on the budding songwriter. Mayer says: “This is the music of my LIFE.” Sexton has headlined venues from The Fillmore to Carnegie Hall, and his songs have appeared in television series such as Scrubs, Parenthood, Masters of Sex, and in numerous films. Although the show seemed short (played for about 45min), it was still so good to see Martin in such an intimate setting and as always his music moves the soul. Anytime he comes to this side of Florida its a blessing!! Got a cool photo of his airstream out front of the venue. I would HIGHLY recommend for anyone to go and see him if you have the chance!!

All of these years and countless shows later, we’re both a little older and grayer, but the man still rocks! He’s an incredible musician and phenomenal showman. But even more importantly, especially in these troubled times, he brings a giant smile to everyone’s face. Lots of fan love to Marty, my favorite Road Warrior ❤️
Jonathan's Ogunquit Ogunquit, MEWe have been traveling to see Martin Sexton for the last 20+ years. This show was great. We chose the venue for its smaller crowd and more intimate setting. We were so happy with both the venue and artist. The 1 hr 30 min drive was well worth it!!!
Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center for the Arts Red Bank, NJI've seen Martin in places ranging from the beautiful Ogden Theatre in Denver, to a run-down roadhouse in Bozeman, Montana. He always brings quality musicianship, great stories, and a beautiful show, no matter the size of the crowd. We were an intimate crowd at the Pub Station, but Martin was a class act!
