He moved to Colorado in 1987 to start a band, within a year The Samples quickly gained popularity, both locally & nationally, playing their original songs, a variety of rock, reggae & folk. After over 30 yrs. of touring as a full band & on his own acoustically, Sean’s voice remains timeless. His songs have been featured in movie’s such as Perks of Being a Wallflower, tv’s series Younger, as well as several different Netflix’s series, & in MSNBC’s election coverage.

The beginning of the show was a bit rough. Either the sound was off or the band was too wasted ! It improved over time ! But we did enjoy the venue and the opening show !
The Meadow at Trapp Family Lodge Stowe, VTAmazing shows at the Blue Note with now good mix of older snd newer songs played and absolutely awesome to see the Samples with 3/4 of the original members. Totally fantastic songs and playful antics :)
Blue Note Napa Napa, CASean and The Samples sounded great and were engaging with the audience! A few hours of listening to music that reminds us of the tiny, beautiful things in life is what we all need.
Cisco Brewers Nantucket, MAGreat to see the Samples again after probably 12 or so years. Sounded pretty good considering they had to play outdoors in a snowstorm in sub freezing Temps. Please come back again soon!
